Film Series

At The Center for Community Growth, our film series have always been a key way for us to spark important conversations about critical social issues and inspire people. By showing documentaries and stories about various social, economic, and environmental challenges, we aim to not only inform but also encourage people to take action. Our goal is to help people understand these issues better, connect with others who care about similar things, and find practical ways to make a difference.

The 2013 Film Series

The 2013 Film Series centered on the interplay between the economy and other social justice issues. From February to July, we screened films that examined the economic factors affecting social, political, and environmental problems in our communities. Each screening was followed by a discussion and an opportunity to connect with local organizations, aiming to strengthen community engagement and collaborative solutions.
